Green Tourmaline

Green tourmaline brings peace to the owner, helps to find harmony, strengthens self-confidence, and gives a feeling of security.

In the 16th century in Brazil, a Spanish conquistador found a green crystal and mistook it for an emerald.
In the 17th century, large quantities of green tourmaline from Brazil began to arrive in the courts of Europe. It was called the Brazilian emerald due to its similarity in color to real emeralds.

It was only in the 19th century that tourmaline was recognized as a separate mineral species. Green tourmaline has been on the market for colored gemstones since 1960.
