Topázio celebrates 150 years of history

Today, the Gondomar-based jewellery company Topázio celebrates 150 years of history, a precious tradition, a heritage that must be preserved.

But we must not forget that tradition can only remain alive when it allows itself to be rethought, adapted, updated for the present and, even more, projected into the future.

Founded in 1874, the brand has become synonymous with quality, trust and sophistication, creating timeless pieces that combine the best craftsmanship and modernity. The master transforms the ordinary into the rare, the simple into the eternal.

To celebrate this historic milestone, 15 contemporary artisans have turned to traditional techniques to reinterpret this object, a silver vase.

The task was simple: create a vase.
Just a vase. However, the power of creativity and innovation has transformed these projects into true works of art.

Each vase is an expression of innovative ideas, a renewed vision of something that has been consecrated by time. It is a dialogue between the past and the present, between what was and what will be.
True wealth does not only lie in the sparkling silver that we see at first glance, but also in the history that people have written over the centuries and that continues to be written today.

The exhibition “150 years of Topázio” opened this Saturday at the Casa Branca de Gramido (Gondomar).

The exhibition presents 15 exclusive pieces created by 15 designers who reinterpret the art of jewelry, combining tradition and innovation.

The exhibition will be open to the public until April 15, 2025.
