The Filigree Museum in Gondomar turns 2 years old

The Municipal Museum of Filigree in Gondomar celebrated its 2nd anniversary this year.

The museum is located in the White House of Gramido (Casa Branca de Gramido) in Gondomar, above the Douro River. This place is interesting because it was in this house on June 29, 1847 that the Convention of Gramido was signed - an agreement that put an end to the long, painful and ruinous civil war in Portugal.

Unfortunately, there were no additional interesting events in Gondomar around these events.

But this does not diminish the interest in the contents of the museum's exhibition.
