17th APIO Jewelry Competition

The theme of the 17th APIO Jewellery Competition has been announced. The competition is dedicated to the memory of Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese navigator and one of the greatest explorers in world history.

On December 24, 1524, 500 years ago, the man whose name is associated with the Age of Discoveries died. He was the captain of the first ships that sailed from Europe to India via the Cape of Good Hope, which was the longest ocean voyage ever undertaken.


APIO, the Portuguese National Association of the Jewellery Industry, invites all professional jewellers, students and graduates of the various jewellery schools to participate in the competition.
