Golden sheep

It took more than 4 months of hard work by the team to turn the idea into a work of art. To create the golden sheep, it took 7.5 km of gold thread and 75,000 welds.

The filigree sculpture was created by Arlindo Moura, a jeweler from Gondomar.

The sculpture, weighing 10.8 kg, will be located in the Centro Interpretativo da Ovelha da Serra da Estrela, Santa Marinh museum. The legendary SERRA DA ESTRELA cheese is produced in this region.
